A new addition to the Health Sciences website

A new Interprofessional Education (IPE) webpage has been launched on the Health Sciences website to help cultivate the ability and skills for learners to be contributive, effective members of high-functioning healthcare teams.

Effective interprofessional teamwork is critical to patient care, safety, and worker well-being. Candid, respectful dialogue between and among colleagues is vital to reducing clinical errors and increasing employee wellness, efficacy, and engagement. Through interprofessional education (IPE), learners cultivate the abilities and skills to be contributive, effective members of high-functioning healthcare teams.

Working with USask colleges, schools and programs, faculty and instructors, and staff and learners, the University of Saskatchewan Health Sciences IPE Team supports the “interspace” of centrally coordinated interprofessional education initiatives.

To support the work being done by this team, a new webpage has been launched to provide team contact information, listings of IPE activities, IPECT learning platform tutorials, and more.
